ग्राम कोरसागुड़ा विकासखण्ड उसूर निवासी शांति मोटू पूनेम के नवजात को 4 अप्रैल को गंभीर अवस्था में बीजापुर हॉस्पिटल में भर्ती किया गया था. जाँच उपरांत शिशु को Staphylococcal Scalded Skin Syndrome नामक अत्यंत दुर्लभ त्वचा रोग से पीड़ित पाया गया, जिसमें त्वचा जलने जैसी स्थिति में छिलने लगती है और संक्रमण तेजी से फैलता है. यह बीमारी बहुत ही कम मामलों में देखने को मिलती है.
शिशु रोग विशेषज्ञ डॉ. नेहा चव्हाण के नेतृत्व में टीम ने 25 दिनों तक लगातार गहन उपचार, एंटीबायोटिक थेरेपी एवं विशेष नर्सिंग देखभाल प्रदान की. उपचार के दौरान शिशु की अत्यंत नाजुक और प्रभावित त्वचा की सुरक्षा के लिए विशेष सावधानियां बरती गईं. शिशु को बाहरी संक्रमण और घर्षण से बचाने हेतु पारंपरिक एवं सहायक उपाय के रूप में स्वच्छ एवं स्टरलाइज किए गए केले के पत्तों का उपयोग किया गया.
इन पत्तों को बिस्तर के रूप में इस प्रकार बिछाया गया कि नवजात की त्वचा को मुलायम और सुरक्षित सतह मिले, जिससे शरीर पर रगड़ कम हो और संक्रमण का खतरा घटे. साथ ही नियमित रूप से पत्तों को बदलकर स्वच्छता बनाए रखी गई, जिससे बच्चे को एक संक्रमण-रहित वातावरण मिल सके.
जा सकती थी नवजात शिशु की जान
डॉ. नेहा चव्हाण ने लल्लूराम डॉट कॉम से बात करते हुए कहा कि नवजात शिशु का यह बेहद ही रियर केस था. इसमें शरीर का ऊपरी चमड़ी का इंपैक्सन रहता है, संक्रमण बहुत ज्यादा रहता है. और इसकी वजह से शिशु को जान खतरे में जा सकती हैं, इसको डॉक्टर को टाइम से दिखाना रहता है, तभी उसका इलाज संभव हो पाता है,
सही समय पर बच्चे को हमारे पास लाया गया. उसको तुरंत हमने एंटीबायोटिक का थेरेपी लगाकर इलाज शुरू किया. इस बीमारी में केले के पत्ते में रखना और ड्रेसिंग करना होता है, वही हमने किया. पूरी तरह से हाइजीनिक इलाज किया, और अब बच्चा पूरी तरह से स्वास्थ्य हैं.
परिजनों ने दिया दिल से धन्यवाद
शिशु के परिजनों ने भावुक होकर कहा कि उन्होंने अपने बच्चे के जीवित रहने की उम्मीद लगभग खो दी थी, लेकिन चिकित्सकों और नर्सिंग स्टाफ के समर्पण, निरंतर देखभाल और अथक प्रयासों ने उनके बच्चे को नया जीवन दे दिया. उन्होंने इसे अपने परिवार के लिए किसी चमत्कार से कम नहीं बताया और पूरे चिकित्सा दल के प्रति हृदय से आभार व्यक्त किया.
पहली बार आया अनोखा केस
सिविल सर्जन डॉ. रत्ना ठाकुर ने लल्लूराम से कहा कि मैं डॉ. नेहा चव्हाण और उनकी टीम को बधाई देती हूं. इस तरह का केस हमारे हॉस्पिटल में पहली बार आया था, और हमारे डॉक्टरों की टीम ने सही तरीके इलाज कर एक नवजात शिशु को को नई जिंदगी दी है. अगर इस तरह ग्रामीण स्तर पर कोई भी केस आए तो निश्चित ही जिला हॉस्पिटल का लाभ लें.
