हादसे के बाद राज्य में राजनीतिक और प्रशासनिक गतिविधियां तेज हो गई हैं। प्रदेश के वाणिज्य एवं उद्योग मंत्री लखन लाल देवांगन गुरुवार को रायगढ़ पहुंचे। उन्होंने मेट्रो हॉस्पिटल, जिंदल हॉस्पिटल और मेडिकल कॉलेज अस्पताल में भर्ती घायलों से मुलाकात की और उनके उपचार की जानकारी ली। मंत्री ने इस घटना को बेहद दुखद बताते हुए कहा कि सरकार इसे गंभीरता से ले रही है। उन्होंने बताया कि प्रधानमंत्री ने भी हादसे पर चिंता जताई है, वहीं मुख्यमंत्री ने न्यायिक जांच के आदेश दे दिए हैं। दोषियों के खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई की जाएगी और श्रम कानूनों के तहत भी कड़ी कार्रवाई सुनिश्चित की जाएगी। फिलहाल प्लांट को सील कर दिया गया है और जांच पूरी होने तक इसे दोबारा शुरू करने की अनुमति नहीं दी जाएगी।
